Deborah has worked in further and higher education for over thirty years. She has been the Executive Group Director for Digital Learning Technologies at the Ofsted 'Outstanding' and multi-award-winning Grimsby Institute since February 2018.
She is passionate about educational excellence and is in charge of providing staff and students with an outstanding teaching and learning experience that is enhanced by the creative use of edtech.

Amy Hollier
Director of Blended and Online Learning, Heart of Worcestershire College
Amy oversaw the Department for Education's EdTech Demonstrator Schools and Colleges Programme on behalf of Heart of Worcestershire College, and she currently serves on the DfE's Digital and Technology Standards Working Group as well as the BETT UK Advisory Board.
She was awarded a Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA) in 2018 for her work in digital innovation to improve teaching, learning, and assessment. She has over 16 years of experience working in Further and Higher Education.

Sara is passionate about student-centered learning, as well as the sharing and implementation of innovative active learning practises.
She previously worked on the implementation and development of Denmark's largest Danish language school's e-learning platform, and she is now working on educational development and e-learning at the University of Southern Denmark's Faculty of Engineering.

Andrew joined Amazon Web Services as Executive Lead for UK Education in January 2022 with a focus on helping education leaders achieve their strategic aims through the use of digital technology, innovation, and culture. He has over 15 years of digital leadership and transformation experience across the UK public sector.
Andrew was previously Pro Vice-Chancellor (Digital) for Staffordshire University, a member of the executive team with direct responsibility for the Digital, Estates, and Transformation portfolios.

Mette is focused on the fact that the natural sciences is often not the reason the students choose to study Nursing. It is therefore important for her to make the material as accessible as possible. This has been true for the entirety of her teaching career - also when there was not LMS.
In addition to her teaching Mette is passionate about helping her colleagues to uterlice the possibilities e-learning has to offer.

Having previously demonstrated and sold learning platforms, content, authoring tools and assessment technology for six years, and with a deep understanding of eLearning systems and solutions, Oli is now eager to speak impartially to education providers about the market as a whole.
Now, as Partnerships Manager at FE Tech, Oli is passionate to help build a unique learning technology community to ensure best practice within the sector.

Ovi started his career in Microsoft where he was responsible for the educational community and the private and subsidized schools in Microsoft Spain before moving to Western Europe. Ovi has over 16 years’ experience in the classroom as a primary teacher and ICT coordinator.

With over 20 years of experience in public sector technology sales and partnerships, Todd Baker has an extensive international track record in developing strategic educational technology alliances with global software companies like Ellucian and SAP.
Todd obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Utah State University, a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is also the recipient of the Gallup Organization and Marketing Education Association’s “New Marketing Educator” award.

Rui Grilo is responsible for Microsoft’s Western Europe business in the Education sector since 2017, having joined the company in 2009 as Education Lead in Portugal. During his career, he was able to pursue his three passions: technology, education, and the magic of people working together. That is why he did things as different as being the managing director of an Internet portal, advisor to the Portuguese Prime Minister on education and youth, or completing a doctorate on organizational change at the University of Hertfordshire (UK). In his current role at Microsoft, he’s happy to see all three passions coming together, helping education customers transform teaching and learning.

Steven Threadgold joined itslearning in 2011. In 2021 he became Group Product Manager for Learning Management Systems in Sanoma. He has spent his whole working life both teaching and helping teachers through technology. First as a university lecturer then a consultant for EU and then in the educational technology space providing best-in-class online teaching and learning solutions. He is committed to ensuring that our teachers and students utilise learning technology to its full potential.
