For the past few days, posters for youth participation have been found all over the city of Bremen. The aim of this campaign is to motivate young people to participate in local decision-making processes and help shape social interaction.
The youth participation advisory board uses specially-designed courses within the itslearning platform to activate young people across the city. They conduct surveys and encourage young people to flag issues that they want addressed.
“The participation of young people in the political processes is a matter close to my heart. After all, they are experts in their own affairs.”
Andreas Bovenschulte, Mayor of Bremen

The itslearning platform follows a “learning-centric approach”. It includes a comprehensive lesson Planner which helps structure workflows and materials, while enabeling the collaborative planning of lessons.
The platform offers a variety of methods for activating students and promotes independent learning: Learning paths, individual learning plans and peer assessment are just a few of the modern functions that help educators design lessons to support all learners. 360° Degree Reports help teachers determine which students might need some additional help.
